Food Lion Makes Donation To Second Harvest Food Bank

Food Lion delivered more than 10,000 pounds of food Monday to help the food bank's dwindling supply.

Two weeks ago, Second Harvest ran out of food.

Organizers say Monday's donation will feed more than 100 families of four, three meals a day for a week.

But they still need more donations.

Second Harvest says it needs about 38,000 of food daily in order to fill all of its requests.
