
Danville, VA-- Officers in Danville say around 3:15am Tuesday, they responded to an armed robbery at the Fas-Mart on South Main Street. The clerk working at the store stated that a male came in to the store armed with an assault rifle demanding money.
The clerk said the didn't get any money because the register was locked. The man ran out of store. Investigators say the suspect was wearing dark pants and a camouflage ski mask over his face. He was last seen on foot and in the area of the North Carolina and Virginia State line. They encourage anyone who see him to not approach. Police say he is to be considered armed and dangerous.
