Greensboro, NC -- Local students are helping Haitian earthquake victims, one penny at a time.
Students at Jackson Middle School in Greensboro are holding a penny drive.
Students learn about pride, struggle and determination and teachers say the earthquake helped them focus on struggle.
They decided to collect pennies to show that every little bit helps.
Students raised $402 so far for the Red Cross's Haiti Relief effort.
Their goal is $500.
