A cold front will move through the Triad tonight. In advance of the approaching cold front a line of showers and thunderstorms will move through the Triad. The actual cold front is expected to move through the area sometime after Midnight and then give way to clearing conditions early Friday.
Temperatures Friday morning will start off in the upper 50s and then warm into the low-middle 70s Friday afternoon under a mostly sunny sky.
High pressure will build into the area on Friday and create breezy conditions. Wind speeds will be anywhere from 10-20 mph with gusts near 30 mph.
The entering area of high pressure will provide pleasant conditions all the way through the Memorial Day Holiday. High temperatures through the weekend will be in the middle 70s.
