Meghan joined the WFMY team in October 2009 after working as a reporter and anchor at WWAY in Wilmington, NC.
Meghan graduated from Elon University, where she received national awards for her work. During her time at Elon, Meghan interned with the investigative reporting department at WCAU in Philadelphia and WMGM in South Jersey. She also studied abroad in Costa Rica and Ireland.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Meghan enjoys living in North Carolina and is excited to work in the Triad - just down the road from her alma mater.
What is your favorite food? Thai food!
What are your hobbies? I like to play golf. I'm still learning, but enjoy hitting the links on a nice day. I also enjoy reading and spending time with friends and family. Otherwise you can find me watching, reading, or listening to the news!
Where is your favorite place to visit? Anywhere with a beach! Growing up, I spent my summers at the Jersey shore. I have great memories of my time there and like getting back when I can. Since living on the Carolina coast, Wilmington has also become one of my favorite places to visit.
Where did you grow up? I grew up in a suburb of Philadelphia, near Valley Forge National Historical Park.
Brag about your family! My brother is an electrical engineer. He never ceases to amaze me with his impressive knowledge of how things work. My parents are very loving and encouraging and have supported me every step of the way.
