Burlington, NC-- Firefighters in Burlington had to fight a machine fire at a plant and the heat outside.
Around 5:45 p.m. several fire units were dispatched to a fire at Glen Raven Mills on Park Ave in Burlington. A fire official said the fire was contained to a machine inside the building and didn't get out of control.
There were 40 employees in the building when the fire started and all of them were safely evacuated, according to investigators.
One firefighter was taken away by EMS to be treated for heat exhaustion and is expected to be okay.
Fire investigators are still looking into what caused the machine to catch fire.
