High Point, NC -- A motorcycle driver involved in a crash at the 1800 block of W. English Street has died from his injuries.
Rodrick Obrian Johnson, 31, was traveling west bound on W. English St., near Wiley Place, Friday afternoon at an excessive speed when he lost control and collided with another vehicle pulling out of a parking lot.
Johnson was taken to High Point Regional then later transported to Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He died early Saturday morning from his injuries.
No one in the other vehicle was injured.
High Point Police is investigating the incident, and no charges have been filed at this time.
