Triad Agencies Assist U.S. Marshals In The July Murder Of Man In MI

Hamlet, NC -- With the help of Triad law enforcement agencies, the U.S. Marshals were able to locate and arrest a teen wanted in Michigan for the robbery and murder of a man in July of 2011.

Thursday at 4:30pm, Dycarious Robinson, 18, was arrested in the vicinity of Daniel Street and Perry Avenue in Hamlet by the U.S. Marshals Service Joint Fugitive Task Force.

Robinson was wanted by the state of Michigan in connection with the murder and robbery of a Michigan man in July of 2011.

The Joint Fugitive Task Force was able to develop information of a location for Robinson in the Hamlet area. Members of the JFTF responded to the area and Robinson was arrested without incident.

Robinson was booked into the Richmond County Jail, where he is awaiting extradition to Michigan.

The U.S. Marshals Joint Fugitive Task Force is comprised of investigators from the U.S. Marshals Service, NCSHP, Alamance County Sheriff's Office, Chapel Hill Police Department, Durham Police Department, Greensboro Police Department, High Point Police Department, Orange County Sheriff's Office, and Winston-Salem Police Department.
