Wednesday marks the day he was shot and killed, but also a time to learn about his life's journey, and you can do that by watching the Dreams of a King Performance.
Nathan Alston with the International Civil Rights Museum and Sandra Jones who stars as Shirley Jean Glover Mitchell Johnson in the show stopped by the Good Morning Show Tuesday.
Shirley Jean tells her story of her time will spent with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. You can expect to laugh, cry tears of joy and sing when you watch the performance.
Show dates are April 4-6, all beginning at 7:30pm. The performance is at the American Express Auditorium of the International Civil Rights Center & Museum in Greensboro.
