Asheboro, NC -- Randolph Community College hosted a Veterans Benefits Fair on their campus Thursday from 9 am to 1 pm.
"The goal is to provide information about services and benefits available to veterans and their families," said Cathy Aikens, RCC Financial Aid Associate & VA Certifying Official. "It gives them a one-stop opportunity to speak with different organizations that may essentially improve their health and well-being."
The event featured information tables from agencies such as the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Employment Security Commission, Veteran Services Officer, Salisbury Rural Health, Department of Veterans Affairs-Winston-Salem Regional Office, Home for Heroes, a US Army Recruiter, RCC student counselors, and the Greensboro Veterans Center.
