Greensboro, NC -- Bennett College is the site for the second  Save a Girl, Save A World program. The program is designed to help these young women from Bennett College and Bennett Early/Middle College to set goals and teach them the skills to achieve them.

Glenda Gill, the founder of the program, says she got tired of just complaining about what she saw was wrong with young African American women and decided to do something about it. So she called on some friends and they brain-stormed and the Save A Girl, Save A World program was born.

The mentors for the program come from around the country and are specialists in areas from personal finance, health and fitness, and business. They will teach the girls about career preparation, goal setting, and self esteem.

The program lasts throughout the weekend.
