Stabbing, Robbery Call Keep Police Busy

Greensboro, NC-- Police in Greensboro said a man is recovering from a stab wound after an altercation on Saturday. 

Officers were dispatched around 5:19 pm to the intersection of West Lee Street and Eugene Street on an assault. They found a man inside his home on W. Lee St with a stab wound. 

The man told police he and another person got into a fight and that person stabbed him and left the are. The victim was transported to Cone Hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury.

Police are still investigating and haven't made an arrest in the case.

Earlier in the day on Saturday around 2:27pm, Police were dispatched on a robbery of a person call. Adrian Yancey told police he had driven to a location to meet a woman. When he arrived Yancey said two men were waiting and both were armed.

According to the victim, the suspects stole money and other personal items. Yancey said after the suspects left he drove to a nearby gas station and called 911.
