Ron Livingston In Winston-Salem For RiverRun Festival

Winston Salem, NC-- You know RiverRun Film Festival  brings movies and some Hollywood stars to the Triad.

Sunday, Ron Livingston screened his latest project, "Queens of Country." Its the story of a sheltered young woman in a small Arizona town who finds an iPod and believes the man of her dreams is the owner.

Ron plays Rance Mckoy, a local line dancing champion and the boyfriend of Jolene, played by Lizzie Caplan. The relationship the two have is anything but ideal, which causes Jolene to retreat to her fantasy world.

The film was directed by Ryan Page and Chris Pomerenke, their first feature narrative film. thier previus projects include "Blood into Wine," and "Moog."

If you missed this showing you are probably out of luck. Tickets sold out fast, and "Queens of Country" was only here one night at the Hane's Theatre in downtown Winston Salem. From here, the film makes it next stop in Tennessee.
