Greensboro, NC -- Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro has its annual Earth Day Sale and Celebration on Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21. The event will be held at the ReStore, located at 3826 High Point Road, with doors opening at 10 am.
All proceeds support the construction of affordable housing in Greensboro through Habitat for Humanity.
"The ReStore gives second life to quality building and home materials that would otherwise end up in a landfill," said Bill Gault, Manager of the ReStore. "Members of our community can feel good about donating to or buying from the ReStore because when they do, they're helping to build homes and stronger families right here in Greensboro."
Last year, the ReStore kept 1,200 tons of materials out of local landfills. In honor of the organization's environmental commitment, a national retailer has donated truckloads of new items for the sale. The sale includes lawn and garden items, plants, holiday decorations, cabinets, plumbing supplies and much more.
