(Lexington, NC) -- Davidson County Sheriff's Department responded to a call from some local juveniles who found a hand grenade in a wooded area off highway 64 in Lexington.
The grenade was considered too dangerous for transportation, so the Greensboro Bomb Squad removed all people from the area and detonated the device safely on scene.
