The sale started Thursday, but organizers said there are still plenty of books left to choose from.
This year the 54th for the sale featured some 50,000 volumes ranging from paperbacks to "Select" to "Old and Rare."
Who really benefits from the sale? Proceeds from the book sale will benefit community organizations. Last year's organizations who benefited: EYC Mission Trips, Habitat for Humanity, Guilford Interfaith Housing Coalition, Barnabas Furniture Ministry, Room at the Inn of the Triad, Horse Power, Advancing Gospel in Angola, Costa Rica Exploration, Stop Hunger Now and the Crop Walk.
