Greensboro, NC-- Four years after being charged for a murder in Greensboro, the suspect has been found guilty of First Degree Murder.
Tuesday morning, a court official confirmed to WFMY News 2 that Isaam Chaplin was found guilty in the December 2008 shooting death of an armored truck security guard in Greensboro.
Chaplin was arrested February 2009, after investigators said a hand print tied him to the shooting.
Prosecutors accused Chaplin of ambushing 25-year-old Juan Esteban Salado of Charlotte at a store in Greensboro.
Chaplin could get the death penalty when he is sentenced.
A judge had halted jury selection last year after the discovery of the possible murder weapon. The case resumed on Monday, April 23.
