Greensboro, NC - Ready to dance the night away? The 9th Annual BB&T Beach Music in the Park concert series benefitting Children's Home Society of NC begins Thursday, May 10, in downtown Greensboro.

The series has raised over $460,000 for children and families since 2004.

The concerts will be held every Thursday from May 10 to June 28 at 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in Kathleen Price Bryan Park (Festival Park) - located on Davie Street between the YWCA and the Cultural Arts Center. Tickets for this family-friendly event are just $7 at the gate. Or purchase a season pass for $45 and get one concert FREE, by calling 1-800-632-1400.

Some of the top headliners in beach music will set your toes tapping this summer, including: Part Time Party Time Band, Special Occasions, Band of Oz, The Embers, Craig Woolard Band, Eric & The Chill Tones, Carolina Breakers, and Sleeping Booty.

The Budweiser Clydesdales will attend our kick off event on May 10! The 8-horse team is pulling the iconic red delivery truck into town to show their support of North Carolina children and families. Don't miss the parade down Elm Street beginning at 6 p.m. Arrive at Beach Music before 8 p.m. for a chance to see the gentle giants up close. Special thanks to R.H. Barringer for arranging their appearance. Rising country star Lacy Green will also put in an appearance.

The series will wind up with a grand finale concert on June 28 featuring the crowd-pleasing Sleeping Booty!
