Greensboro, NC -- On Friday Isaam Mattaay Chaplin was sentenced to life in prison for murdering a Brinks Security Guard at Old Navy in 2008.
According to Assistant District Attorney Howard Neumann, the jury found Chaplin, 30, guilty of First Degree Murder and Armed Robbery in the shooting death of Juan Salado.
Chaplin was a former Old Navy employee from Philadelphia. Prior to this offense he had no criminal record.
On December 15, 2008 Chaplin dressed up as a woman and killed the security gurad in order to steal bags of money. Chaplin has been serving time in prison since police caught him three years ago.
