(Greensboro, NC)  --  At 2:17 A.M. this morning, Greensboro Police Officers were dispatched to 3900 Overland Heights, Apt. E regarding a stabbing.

When they arrived the victim, Khalil Aiz told them that he was involved in an altercation with  suspect, Ronald Thompson. During the altercation Mr. Aiz received lacerations from a sharp instrument causing non-life threatening injuries.

Mr. Aiz was transported to Moses Cone Hospital by ambulance.

The suspect, Ronald Thompson was arrested at the scene and charged with Assault With A Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury With Intent To Kill. Mr. Thompson is currently being held under $20,000 bond.

Southern Division Officers, Western Division Officers, CSI units responded to the scene and Criminal Investigation Division were notified.
