Winston Salem Store Robbed By Two Men With Shotguns

(Winston Salem, NC)  --  Officers with the Winston-Salem Police Department responded to an armed robbery call at Jackson Avenue Grocery last night at approximately 10:30.

The clerk was in the process of counting money from the business. The two listed suspects entered the business both armed with shotguns and approached him.

One suspect ordered the clerk to the ground and held him there. The other suspect went behind the counter and removed an undetermined amount of cash from the register.

Both suspects fled the area and were reported to have travelled south on North Jackson Avenue.

K-9 responded to the area but was unable to conduct a track.

Case referred to CID.
