MAYODAN, NC- On Thursday detectives from the Rockingham County Sheriff's Office confiscated a large number of marijuna plants.

Narcotics Detectives seized 255 Marijuana Plants growing in a wooded area near Park Rd. and NC 770 in Mayodan.

These plants have an estimated street value of $306,000 (approximately $1,200 per plant). The investigation is currently ongoing. No charges have yet been filed.
