The 11am advisory for Tropical Storm Alberto places the storm 90 miles south of Charleston, South Carolina or 90 miles east of Savannah, Georgia.
Maximum winds are 45 mph. Little change in strength is expected during the next 48 hours.
Alberto is moving west-southwest at 6 mph but is expected to slow down and move very little through Monday. A turn to the northeast is expected later Monday or Tuesday. The storm is expected to stay offshore of the Georgia and Carolina coasts.
