Triad -- Highs over the weekend only made it to the 70s. Lows were in the low 50s... with some spots dropping to the upper 40s. Is it really June?
With an average high of 82 and average low of 62, those numbers are not at all typical.
As we head into the new week, Monday will be back in the low 80s. The warm-up will be short lived though. There is a cold front which will be moving through Monday night. That brings a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Then it's back to the 70s.
Tuesday through Friday will be in the mid 70s for highs and the upper 50s for lows. The best rain chances will be on Wednesday and Thursday.
After that, summer-like conditions will return by next weekend. Highs will be back in the low 80s with plenty of sun.
