Gate City Kicks Off 'Be: Greensboro' Campaign

(Greensboro, NC)  --  Between now and August 31, if you are a Greensboro resident, you can  can call 373-CITY (2489) to commend a City employee for a job well done as part of the "Be: Greensboro" campaign. The campaign is designed to encourage and recognize City employees for their service to the community.

"We know that the City has many strong employees who are leaders, team players, and excellent stewards of taxpayer resources," says Interim City Manager Denise Turner Roth. "This campaign is a way to honor those employees for their efforts and to encourage our employee base as a whole to continue their hard work."

The campaign is titled "Be: Greensboro" in an effort reinforce to employees that their individual actions represent the overall services of Greensboro city government. The program encourages employees throughout the organization to be excellent examples of City government by being compassionate, helpful, and committed to serving Greensboro's residents.

Employees who are nominated by residents will be recognized as the "Best of Greensboro" during City Council meetings and through the City's internal and external websites.
