Greensboro, NC -- Police are investigating a pair of unrelated robberies in Greensboro Sunday.

In the first, police say Darius Jevon Harvey was walking down the road, near Church St., at 2:30 am when a man approached him and started a conversation.

The suspect assaulted Harvey, and when the victim fought back, several other people joined in and beat Harvey to the ground. The group took Harvey's jewelry, cell phone and a small amount of cash.

Harvey was transported to Wesley Long with non-life-threatening injuries.

The second robbery happened just after 5 am on S. Elm St.

Police say William Spivey was also walking when a vehicle stopped, and the suspect approached him. The man demanded money from Spivey and then drove away in his car.

Spivey suffered no injuries.

Police are still looking for the suspects in both of these cases.
