Greensboro--Sunshine and pleasant conditions will make dads across the Piedmont smile on their special weekend. Consider a cookout and time outdoors this weekend while these nice conditions last.
High pressure over New England is sending comfortable temperatures and dry air into the area along with lots of sunshine. Take advantage of these condition because they will not last too long.
The high pressure system will build southward near Georgia by early next week. This will allow heat and higher humidity to gradually build over the next five to seven days.
Highs today and Father's Day will be near 80. By early next, temperatures will warm into the low 80's. Near 90-degree weather will be with us by Wednesday through Friday.
Our normal high for this time of year is 85.
