Charlotte, NC (WBTV) -- American Idol auditions will be held in Charlotte on Tuesday and droves of people dreaming of celebrity stardom have already formed a line.
By 4 am Sunday, about a thousand people were already in line for their shot in the limelight.
The event could pose some major traffic issues through Tuesday because a big line formed around Time Warner Cable arena in Uptown.
American Idol has started pre-registration for auditions for next season's show.
Organizers estimate as many as 15,000 people may be in uptown for the auditions by Tuesday, so drivers are advised to avoid area around the arena unless you have no choice.
