RALEIGH, N.C. -- The North Carolina Chamber is hosting a summit on manufacturing in the state.
Made in North Carolina is happening Tuesday at the Marriott City Center in Raleigh.
More than a dozen speakers are expected for the daylong event. Among them are Dale Carroll, deputy secretary for the North Carolina Department of Commerce, and Reid Waitt of Caterpillar Inc.
David Byerly, human resources director at Bridgestone Americas, is also scheduled to speak, as is Tom White, director of economic development at North Carolina State University.
