Danville, NC -- Police are investigating a shooting at the Highlander Restaurant Lodge and Pub on Riverside Dr. in Danville.

The shooting happened just before 2 am Saturday.

Police found Adrian Wimbush, 23, and a 39-year old unidentified woman with gunshot wounds.

Wimbush later died and has been transported to a Roanoke medical examiner for an autopsy.

The woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released.
