Winston-Salem, NC -- On Thursday at 11:09 am, eight passengers of a Winston-Salem Transit Authority Bus and the driver of a car were taken to Baptist Hospital for minor injuries after an accident.
According to Police, Meghan Soper was driving her 2008 Toyota Highlander south on N. Marshall Street and ran a red light at the intersection with W. First Street. At that time a bus had a green light and was going through that same intersection.
The two collided.
Soper was cited for Entering an Intersection under a Steady Red Light.
