(Greensboro, NC)  --  Last night shortly after 11:30, Greensboro Police were called to a home on Mitchel Avenue in reference to a burglary.

The homeowner told police they were awakened by someone attempting to force entry to the back door. Upon the homeowner going to investigate and turning on a light, the suspect was scared off and fled the scene. The suspect did not gain entry.
