We're wrapping up "Burger Week" on The Good Morning Show with the one and only Ed Matthews! He showed us how to make your burger shine with a delicious chili topping.

Here's the recipe:

Crock Pot Mountain Man Chili:
1.25 lbs of ground beef
1 lbs Bacon (strips cut into 1 inch squares)
1 Large Onion (Chopped)
28 oz. Baked beans
32 oz. Light kidney beans (drained)
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tablespoons White Vinegar
Salt and Pepper to taste

Brown ground beef and drain the excess grease. Add beef, uncooked bacon squares, and chopped onion to crock pot. Mix well. Bacon squares may stick together but will separate during cooking. Set crock pot on low heat and cook for five hours. Stir a few times each hour. The longer the ingredients remain mixed before serving the better this chili will taste. Consider making the chili the day before. After cooking on low heat for five hours, turn off the crock pot and allow chili to sit in crock pot overnight. Heat one hour before serving. Makes a half gallon of delicious chili!
