Winston-Salem, NC -- The city council approved an incentive package that could help bring thousands of jobs to the Triad.

Consumer Financial Services Corp. II, an Oklahoma-based debt collecting firm, is looking to set up a call center either in Winston-Salem or Las Vegas.

The council had to approve the incentive package tonight to stay in the competition.

If CFS chooses Winston-Salem, the company could start hiring as soon as this fall.

The company is looking to put the call center in the northwestern part of the city.

The center will bring 500 jobs to the area over the next four years, totalling around 2,000 new jobs by 2016.

The average salary for the call center will be $40,000 per year.
