Greensboro, NC -- The Greensboro/Guilford CrimeStoppers program is hosting its 20th annual golf tournament on Monday, August 6 at the Forest Oaks Country Club.
The tournament is open to pros and amateurs alike. The cost to register is $85 per person or $340 for a team of four. The price includes greens fees, cart, cold beverages, and a fried chicken lunch.
The annual golf tournament is the primary fundraiser for CrimeStoppers. The CrimeStoppers program is a non-profit organization that connects the community, law enforcement and the media to help solve crimes.
CrimeStoppers rewards callers with a cash reward of up to $2,000 if the tip they provide leads to an arrest or indictment.
Last year, Greensboro/Guilford CrimeStoppers paid more than $24,000 in rewards to anonymous callers. The reward fund is funded solely by donations and fundraisers.
