Greensboro, NC-- Some workers in Greensboro have some money to pad their retirement with after they won the lottery.
Wednesday, a group of 20 lottery players, all who work at RF Micro Devices in Greensboro collected their check for $1 million. Their ticket matched all five white balls in the August 4. The group, told lottery officials they call themselves "The Lotto Twenty."
Each winner received a check for $34,000 after taxes were withheld.
What are they doing with their money? Each one has a different plan for their money, including paying bills, helping family, contributing to college funds and taking vacations.
The group said they have been playing the lottery games together for more than a year. One member said they make a good group and they feel blessed.
