Charlotte, NC -- Hundreds of people are marching through Charlotte's central business district ahead of the Democratic National Convention.
The group is protesting what they call the corporate takeover of the nation's political process.
Marchers are participating in the "March on Wall Street South" in a protest that's expected to be the week's largest.
Demonstrators carried anti-war signs as well as those promoting unionized labor and the plight of undocumented immigrants.
The group will march past the corporate headquarters of Bank of America and a major office hub for Wells Fargo.
