Triad --  A front has stalled out to our north and moisture is streaming in ahead of the remnants of Isaac.  When you add that all together, it means our rain chances won't go down for a few days.

Thunderstorm chances continue through Sunday evening.  Some of them could be strong to severe.  Heavy rains, gusty winds and large hail are possible with these storms.

As we move into Labor Day, the front will continue to be parked to our north.  Because of this, we will remain unsettled.  There is a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms any time during the day.  The best chance will be in the afternoon... as many are likely to be heading to cook-outs.

The best bet is simply to have a back-up plan.  You might be lucky and avoid the rain all together... or the storms could hold off until later in the evening for your area.

Either way, plan for it to be warm and muggy.  Temps will be in the mid to upper 80s with high humidity.

Stay safe!  Keep an eye on the radar... and have a fun Labor Day!
