Lexington, NC-- Several fire departments are on the scene of a working fire in downtown Lexington.
According to the Davidson County 911 Center, they received a call around 11:20 on a fire at a business.
Telecommunicators tell News 2 that the fire is at Burnett's Upholstery on Meadow Drive.
A spokesperson for the fire department said the fire was mainly in the roof area of the business. He said there was a woodworking shop on the upper floor of the building.
At least six fire departments are working the fire, according to 911.
The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
