High Point, NC-- Year after year, Santa is the one person who can make most wishes come true.
But there's one problem Santa told WFMY News 2 he has yet to solve... and that is homelessness.
A Triad Santa is going homeless to help raise money and attention to the problem. Wednesday night he stayed at homeless shelter in High Point and plans to do so for the next month.
"Homeless Santa" wants everyone to understand and know children are staying in shelters even during Christmas.
Homeless Santa is trying to raise $33,000 - $1000 for each night he is homeless. Santa is partnering with the Nurturing Center of Greensboro.
The organization is looking for 1000 people to support him by donating just $33 to help him reach his goal.
