(East Bend, NC) -- A methamphetamine Lab was discovered by law enforcement agencies last week in East Bend, near Forbush Elementary School.
The Yadkin County Sheriff's Office, WSPD, Yadkinville Police Department and the North Carolina SBI began the investigation last Tuesday (Dec. 4, 2012), when they received word that a man who was wanted in Wright County, Missouri for multiple felony drug warrants, was living with his brother on Mill Creek Court.
Detectives showed up at the residence and found Glenn Edward Camby, and then discovered chemicals used in the manufacturing of methamphetamines.
The residence was secured while a search warrant was applied for and received. Once received, detectives entered the residence and found several chemicals used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, containers where some of the chemicals had been mixed, and methamphetamine byproducts.
Camby was charged with maintaining a drug dwelling, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of precursor chemicals used in methamphetamine production, possession of methamphetamine and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver methamphetamine.
Camby is being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center under a $250,000 secure bond.
