Greensboro--This is one of those rare weekends in winter when temperatures sore well above normal and you have to make outdoor plans.
A warm front has move north of the Piedmont. This has allowed winds to turn to the southwest and warm us up. With a mix of sun and clouds this afternoon we will warm into the mid and upper 60's.
Sunday could be even warmer with afternoon temperatures well into the low and mid 70's. Our current record high for Sunday January 13th is 76 set back in 1911.
Enjoy the warm and dry weekend. Rain will move into the area Monday and likely continue through Tuesday night. A cold front is expected to move into the area Monday and hang around for a couple of days.
