Burlington, NC -- A Burlington man is in jail after police say he exposed himself and masturbated in front of a woman and her family Jan. 7.
The victim told police she and her family were visiting Joe Davidson Park around 2:30 p.m. when a man in a white Toyota parked near their car. The woman said the man got out, opened the driver's door, exposed himself and began to masturbate.
The woman gave police a detailed description of the suspect and his car. And with that information, officers were able to arrest Jason Garant Perkins of Burlington Monday.
After interviewing 43-year-old Perkins, police arrested and charged him with felony indecent exposure and sex offender unlawfully on a premise.
Perkins was placed in the Alamance County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond.
