Raleigh, NC - A power outage at the NC DMV headquarters will continue throughout Friday.

A DOT representative said in a news release that the outage may continue to have an effect on license and registration services in NC. They suggested that residents should call a DMV office before visiting.

The DOT said it will have an update later Friday. The power outage started around 11 am Thursday.
