Greensboro, NC -- A 17-year-old man was charged after breaking into Western Guilford High School on Friendway Rd.

Officers were dispatched to the school a few minutes after midnight Wednesday when the alarm was triggered. Police said they saw a person inside and he ran when they tried to confront him.

Units standing by were able to catch the 17-year-old. He was charged with Felony Breaking and Entering and Breaking and Entering into a Coin Operated Device.

Police are still investigating.
