The "Wake Up on Time Pill" is supposed to help you wake up without needing the snooze button.
It's called the "alarm clock inside of a pill." It's meant to be taken before you go to bed at night. The time-delayed release means you wake you 6 to 8 hours later ready to start the day.
The pill is a product of the New Jersey company Rise-N-Shine.
"It can't be bad for everybody, but it can be bad for some people," Dr. Brandon Chandos, a sleep specialist from Forsyth Medical Center said. "These things, because they're nutritional supplements are not as tightly regulated by the Food and Drug Administration."
He said there are only certain claims supplements can make. It's important to watch what supplements you combine or it may be toxic.
