Fayetteville, NC -- The man charged with raping and murdering 5-year-old Shaniya Davis is hallucinating and may not be competent to proceed with a trial, according to a psychologist in a WRAL report.
Mario Andrette McNeill spoke with two Triangle mental health professionals who both said he claimed he saw an aura and an electromagnetic field during jury selection. Durham psychologist, James Hilkey, said he spoke of an alien or a deity named "Sophia."
WRAL said Hilkey diagnosed McNeill with schizotypal personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder and a narcissistic personality.

McNeill was supposed to begin his trial Monday, but the trial was delayed so he could have the mental evaluations.
Shaniya Davis was raped and murdered in November 2009. Her mother is facing charges that she sold her daughter to pay a drug debt.
