Raleigh, NC-- Keith Housley of Candor says he may have to take his wife on a dream cruise after he hit the top prize playing "$500,000 Jackpot." He says his wife has been asking for years to go on a cruise and, after investing most of his take home of $340,003, he may just make her wish come true.

Housley is the first player to claim the top prize on the "$500,000 Jackpot" game with the ticket he purchased at Quik Chek #1 on Albemarle Road in Troy. There are 19 top prizes of $500,000 remaining on this ticket along with tens of thousands of other prizes in the game.

In High Point: After winning the top prize of $129,976 playing "Carolina Cash 5," Thomas Fatyol Jr. of High Point says he will save his prize money for retirement and his children's college funds. Fatyol matched all five numbers in the June 30 drawing. He purchased his ticket, worth $88,383 after taxes, at The Pop Shoppe on Hickswood Road in High Point.
