Greensboro, NC -- The late Walter Cronkite will have a private funeral in New York, next Thursday and then be buried next to his late wife in Missouri.

Cronkite died Friday at the age of 92, from cerebrovascular disease.

Meanwhile condolences continue to pour in. WFMY News 2 spoke with a Greensboro woman who used to work with Cronkite at CBS as a News producer.

Theresa Styles said, "I do remember looking up at him and saying this is the most trusted man in America."

She says her office was next to Cronkites' when he left the anchor desk and started reporting special stories again. She was normally one of the producers for election nights as well as for 60 Minutes.

"He really did his research when there was an election... and he was always prepared. To know the quality of man he was. It is something I'll never forget."

CBS will preempt 60 minutes on Sunday to run a tribute to Walter Cronkite in its place. The tribute will air at 7PM EST.
