Climax, NC -- Crews are working to battle a fire at an industrial plant in Guilford County.

The call came in around 11:45 am Monday for a fire at Industrial Wood Products on Highway 22 in Climax. That's on the Guilford County side.

The building has been evacuated and no injured have been reported at this time.

Chief Gary McGee with Climax Fire Dept, told WFMY News 2 the fire was started by crew doing some welding at the plant. The fire was contained to the Sawdust Cyclone, also known as a Silo.

McGee said there was no damage to the building and there were no injuries. He said several area fire departments and Randolph County assisted.
